- Pull the hair back into a braid or pony tail when sleeping (prevent tangling)
- Be gentle when brushing out your hair
- Wash your hair only when necessary
- Use a gentle shampoo and do not scrub your hair when washing
- The more you wash the quicker the hair can dry out
- Use a good conditioner and just condition the ends
- Never sleep on wet hair before going to bed.
- Use heat styling tools carefully, use a heat protectant
- Use smoothing creams just on the ends avoid putting any product on or near the bonds
- Be gentle when brushing out your hair
